The best student in Humanities,Mr Sewante Luke poses for a photo with the Chancellor and other University Officials

On the second day of the graduation ceremony at Makerere University, 22nd January 2015, the overall student in Humanities, Luke Sewante, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Governance. Mr. Sewante attained a first class degree with a CGPA of 4.81 from Makerere University Business School. He was accompanied by his parents who were filled with joy at his achievement. Sewante was presented with a cash prize of one million shillings, a plaque and souvenir items from the Makerere University convocation.

The 14 professors who formally retired last Friday are all from the Makerere University College of Natural Science (CoNas). They will however continue serving Makerere University on a contract basis for another year.
